UConn Men's 2025-2026 Basketball Schedule

Bucks/Knicks at MSG on Black Friday. Maybe UConn isn't playing Illinois there anymore? Or NBA/CBB doubleheader?

It's official: this is THE BEST non-conference schedule we have ever put together. 5 Top 25 teams, at least 2 of which are widely considered Top 10. Texas is just outside in the 3 polls I saw.

For all the bitching and moaning here over the years (and certainly some of it was warranted) about our Out Of Conference home schedule both Arizona and Texas should be great games. 2 MSG games, a TD Bank tilt against a Top 10 BYU and a road trip to Phog Allen.

Great job by Hurley and Benedict! If they can pull something close to this off every year, then I have no problem with not being in any of the pre-season tournaments. Sorry to those of you who looked forward to The Atlantis, Maui and other exotic ports of call for a week but this schedule more than makes up for it, in my mind.

I can't wait to get this rolling! 😍 Bring on BC and !!!!

It's also set up for success. Arizona and Texas at home with three neutral site games in Boston and MSG which are basically going to be home games. Our one road game is Kansas, who we already played at their place two seasons ago. The squad will be looking for revenge and they're going to be ranked significantly ahead of KU heading into the season.

Waiting on the full splits for sites. How I think it will play out with the ones we know:

Hartford: Michigan State, Texas, UMass Lowell, Columbia

Gampel: Arizona, ETA&M, Bryant UNH,

We have the highest expectations of any fan base in college hoop. That said, do we have adequate psychiatric resources available in this state should any losses occur in this early schedule?
I think most realistic fans expect you aren't going to win every one of those top games. Unless this team ends up being a total wagon but we won't know what until they win most or all of them.

Note UK fans, which unfortunately don't have the necessary psychiatric resources (other than Bourbon). As hard as we try, our expectations and general lunacy will never match that fanbase.

Flights to Lawrence from Hartford are less than $300, leaving on the 2nd and coming back on the 3rd. Hotel walking distance to Allen is less than $150, very affordable trip.
