OT: UConn men win!

It was a great game. Had a double digit lead in the 2nd half, Illinois cut it to 4, but missed deep 3's down the stretch and we hit our FT's. So proud of the men! UConn 3rd NC game in 4 years...

I believe the people that bought furniture in the month of January 2026 got refunds if both teams made the finals

Yes, they both had to make the final game but not win it. Its weird because I wouldn't take them up on that offer because I didn't believe the men would get there.. I was positive the women would though.

And the women won the title in that 4th year.

Both winning would be best, but one of them winning each year isn't a bad consolation.

How many of Illinois players seemed eastern European? That's fine...no issue.

I think it was more than January. It may have stretched to almost the tournament.

The insurance premium took a bite out of Jordan's profit. Still, it was probably a good business decision otherwise Jordan's would not have done it.

UCONN big under dogs against Michigan. I’m gonna watch the 1999 Duke vs UCONN game to myself ready for this national championship game.
 
Why is tonight’s championship game at 8:50 ET? First, it is the ONLY college game for the night. Second, it is the championship game, shouldn’t it be on prime time at 7:00? Third, it is on a weeknight, and it’s at bit late for a lot of people.

It’s 7:50 in the Midwest and 5:50 pm out west. There are more eyeballs at 8:50 because UConn fans will complain about the time but still watch
