If it seems like we just played Memphis....we did, on January 4th..!! Here are some interesting stats for your UConn/Memphis game on Wednesday.

2. Bria Hartley's 6 three pt baskets against Rutgers blew open the "made 3's" competition. She now has 31, KML has 23, Stewie & Chong have 19, Banks 12 and MoJeff 11. Memphis' Ariel Hearn has 43 made 3's, that is 57% of the Memphis total.
3. Breanna Stewart leads UConn in points (348), blocks (53), field goals made (126), free throws made (77) and offensive rebounds (45). She is 2nd in total rebounds (152), 3rd is steals (31) and 4th in assists (59). Stewie does one of these positive things every 50.3 seconds she is on the court.
4. UConn has scored 1,600 points in 19 games, for an average of 84.2 per game. Memphis has 1,207 pts for an average of 67.1 per game. That is 20 pts better than opponents score against UConn. (But Memphis only scored 49 in the Jan. game.)
5. Saniya Chong, Kiah Stokes and Brianna Banks have played 28% of UConn's minutes, scored 19% of the points, grabbed 26% of the rebounds and made 35% of the blocks. Combined, they are shooting 51% from the field and 79% from the free throw line.
6. UConn has made 247 free throws (75.8%). Memphis has 252 free throws, but at only 62.2% accuracy. In addition, Memphis only shoots 40% from the field, UConn 50%.
7. Last year, only 2 UConn players were in all 39 games, Kelly Faris and Moriah Jefferson. MoJeff scored 182 pts and had 69 assists in those games. This year, she already has 200 pts and 92 assists, in 19 games. She also has 4 monster blocks..!
8. Memphis is 10-8, but has played in 5 overtime games. They won 3 and lost 2. UConn has still not trailed in the 2nd half of any game.
