OK, this is the true measure of the current state of our program: the sponsors who agree to pay for the broadcast product. So far, not impressed by the lineup of sponsors.

The only national sponsor I saw was Nissan. Played the same commercial 3 times over halftime.

Every other commercial sponsor is small time. This is the AAC after all. Check em out.

BeActive.com knee braces
Mortgage foreclosure assistance services
Copper socks support hosiery
Wall & Associates "Beat the IRS" tax services
Internet Payday loan assistance
Encore Dental Insurance
Kobalt ratchet wrenches and socket sets. Makes a great gift.
MoneyMutual.com - Up to $1,000 loans. Montrel on the commercial

And after the half...
Some more of our AAC sponsors. At least we know who loves us out there! Be sure to buy some of these fine products. Show the love.

1. Pain relieving knee brace, covered by Medicare. Shoulder and arm braces too!
2. Fitbit. Not sure what they are, look like wrist blood pressure monitors.
3. Nissan Yeah! National brand.
4. Beactive.com - Acupressure pad to relieve knee pain. (a lot of AAC fans have bad knees it seems)
5. Intel - big time national sponsor
6. Wall & Associates
7. Gamefly.com -- not bad. for "gamers"
8. Encore Dental: Call now and save add'l 10% (let's get those teeth cleaned!)

Fourth Quarter Update! I think this is targeted advertising:

1. United Foreclosure Group (AAC fans get foreclosed on a lot)
2. Encore Dental (AAC cannot afford regular dental insurance)
3. Draft Kings.com fantasy football (AAC fans prefer fantasy football to the AAC)
4. CopperFitSocks.com with Brett Favre hosting (We need socks)
5. TrueCar.com (you can buy a car from your I phone)
6. Medicare knee brace (a lot of people on Medicare enjoy watching AAC football)
7. Wall & Associates - (AAC fans get audited by the IRS a lot)
8. Tommiecopper.com elbow sleeves (we also have bad elbows)
9. Consolidate internet payday loans by calling 855-739-7064 (We borrow against our paychecks)

All in all, AAC fans are a sorry subset of American culture. .

Let's see, you can judge the success of the commercials?Really? Are you a marketing major?
You can tell a lot about something by who supports it. AAC advertisers are not a proud bunch. They're hawking tax services, socks, knee braces : I'm surprised we're not being supported by Yardsale.com or something like that.

I don't know much about it, but I'd guess those are just buys for ESPNNews and they just run constantly across the network regardless of what is actually on.

I don't think it means that AAC fans support those products and services. I just think the AAC is el cheapo advertising.

This. Seems like this is the first time the OP actually watched ESPNews or ESPNU for that matter.

For what it's worth, ESPNews is sold on a rotational basis only. Meaning, you can't cherry pick the day parts you want to air in. It is, however, the cheapest network you can buy through ESPN (and ESPN Classic) hence all those Direct Response advertisers. The demand For national advertisers to air on it just isn't high enough to bump direct response out.
