Finally some good news!

Yay!

We were down to 6 players at the end of the last game. Amari limped off the court in the closing minutes with a sore calf that was already sore before the game, but she went in and gave it all she had for as long as she could. This mean we can at least start the game with 8-9 healthy bodies. That will give Geno a liitle breathing room, and it should be enough.

With Nika and Dorka back, even without Azzi, we are in pretty good shape. On thing that would really help, especially w/o Azzi, is for Caroline to take another few steps back toward FR, CD, especially with regard to shooting from around the arc, to give Lou some relief from being our only gunner.

If Lou, Aaliyah and Aubrey are allowed to run amuck unchecked, we'll be fine. Those 3 can easily carry the team. I'm hoping the worst is over.

I'm confused. It appears to me that Maggie could be tweeting that the media availability will be shortly today, December 16. But the thread title has December 17. Or one could read it and think that media availability will be shortly before the game on Sunday, December 18, which I believe is the least likely option.
