UConn Louisville Hall Of Fame Showcase Dec 19

Hope to be back at Mohegan Sun for this one. Last time I was there you guys beat our Griner (soph) and Sims (freshman) team.

Due to teaching schedules that was a fly in/fly out trip for me. I didn't sight see one thing. Hopefully this trip can be more relaxed (I'm now retired) and allow for at least a few days of seeing your part of New England.

Should be a great day of bball.

Was referring to Arizona being good but prob not great.
No ND game won't likely be very good either. Not Texas either.

Of the OOC opponents, only SC and Lou are likely to be top 10 teams next year. I wish there were more such games. The other 26 should be comfortable wins.

I thought there was home and home with Arkansas... is that game the 2022-2023?
 
Any chance that this Louisville fan could score a couple tickets? Is there a way to apply?

The test for obtaining a ticket is proving you know when it is proper to use the words there and their correctly in a sentence. Sorry, maybe next year. Just kidding of course. :)

Oops - I knew better. I'm usually a grammar policeman. I fixed it to avoid further embarrassment. Now can I get tickets???
 
sucks it has to be on an NFL Sunday woulda been better had it been on a weekday or late in the season

Damage already done, now you resort to groveling. What's next? ;) Hope you get the tickets, wish I was able to join you. You are a fan of a program that is a class act, Coaches, team and fans. Good luck this coming season, still want to beat you by double digits, in a respectful manor, of course.
 
OOC schedule not that impressive this year. ND, Texas, Oregon are not up to our standards as yet, all mostly rebuilding. Right now, SC is really the only top 10 team that we face. The only good teams in the Battle for Atlantis is Oregon and SC, and of course we cannot play them there. Minnesota, Oklahoma, and USF will probably be our opponents in this event, really nobody to enhance our resume for a number one team. Still, we have 2 games left to schedule, hoping one is Tennessee, and the other, well, any top 15 team will do. What is really hurting us is the BE schedule, not only chocked with mostly average teams at best, but taking up 20 games of our time. I'm sure UConn would welcome an unbalanced schedule, but the rest of the schools are basically even and are not interested in testing the waters with better opponents. They play for a conference title, not something above that which they know is not obtainable. Lets hope the school can set up some 4 game deals with the best of the best. We have to base our schedule on quality, not quantity.
 
Hope its Stanford..So Geno can gain a game on Tara on the all-time win's list!
 
The schedule isn't packed but IMO that's more to do with a lack of opponents than a lack of will from UConn. Where are these top 10 teams that UConn should play? The only ones I can think of are Baylor, Maryland & Stanford. Tara backed off playing UConn several years ago and now only travels east for Tennessee every other year. I'm not sure the new Baylor coach is ready so that leaves Brenda. It would be easier if ESPN had the B1G & BE contracts.

So we still have 3 spots remaining. We got 1 of my hopefuls. Hoping for Iowa, Maryland and either NC State or Baylor. I'd love Stanford but since that series has been doormat for a while
