Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe we have the longest active winning streak in college basketball right now.

We won the last game of our season last year, which would put our winning streak at 10.

Wisconsin has played 10 games this year so far and they are 10-0. So technically, we are tied with Wisconsin for the highest current winning streak in college basketball.

Think you're right, Baylor could have had a longer streak if they had beaten the rotten oranges, since they won the NIT.

Had to check to see how the 2013 CBI winner was faring this year. Santa Clara has lost 5 times already as they suffer a championship hangover.

Sometimes an Ivy League team can fool you, since they don't have a conference tourney and are a one-bid league, so a team can end the year on a little win streak and carry it over. But no Ivy unbeatens are left this year.

You also have to consider the list of teams that were ineligible for postseason last year. UConn, Arkansas-Pine Bluff, California-Riverside, Cal State Bakersfield, Jacksonville State, Mississippi Valley State, North Carolina-Wilmington, Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, Toledo and Towson were all ineligible for 2013 NCAA.....

Toledo won its final 2 games last year and is presently 8-0....So the Rockets ALSO are tied with UConn at 10 straight....and they play twice more, on the 14th and 17th before UConn plays again.

good call nimzovich. Didn't think about that. Holy Toledo!

Toledo needs some good news. This week, its 7-5 football team was one of 10 eligible teams snubbed for a bowl bid...so banned from NCAA basketball postseason last year and no football bowl bid this year is a real double whammy...
