I assume this is sarcasm, correct??? Western Michigan plays in the NCHC hockey conference ( which I assume you are well aware) which is a very good hockey conference. Denver, Minnesota Duluth, North Dakota, Saint Cloud are all members of the conference. Western Michigan is currently in 2nd place.
