Well I can answer the second question: He didn’t play a down for Wagner but they list him as a sophomore on their roster which is weird - maybe he was a non-scholarship player at Wagner too.

I think he was a scholarship athlete and redshirted in 2018. Wagner doesn't list anyone as a redshirt freshman, just listed as sophomores.
