Uconn Kansas Home and Home Announced

Oh Yes! Finally! The series I've been waiting for since 1996 (or whenever the last one ended)!

It's interesting how we seem to be playing all Big 12 teams.

Of course I forgot Texas is now SEC.
My comment about the last KU game was focused on UConn fans showing up, going out in Lawrence and making an impression. I think we knocked it out of the park. That's got to be part of what the Big XII is considering in whether UConn is a fit. Will they show up?

Still a question in Stillwater, Ames, Manhattan, Waco etc.

I recall a Kansas H&H back in the 90s.... our home was at HCC or Gampel (forgot which) and we had Rip maybe was a freshman but held our own vs #1 Kansas for a half while the ladies demolished Kansas away.
That was the first game after Ricky Moore and Kirk King were suspended. We played Rip at point guard and he had 24 points and 8 assists. If I remember right, we jumped out to a big lead (maybe 22-7 or so) and crowd was going bonkers, but once Kansas fought back in it, we didn’t have enough big game moxie. Yet. A couple years later, we were well-moxied.

If anyone can get the time off this game is the Tuesday after Thanksgiving. You can get a week off and easily travel back home on December 3rd and only have missed 3 days of work.

Wasn’t the game at Kansas on Super Bowl Sunday? I remember being so pumped for the day and we got absolutely annihilated.

Mens and women's teams both played Kansas same day back to back on national TV if I remember correctly.

I recall being there. At the Civic Center. First game I remember as a kid. They hung with Kansas. Roy Williams in his heyday. Late 96/early 97 with Rip/Voskuhl/Freeman all as Freshman.
