UConn is ranked 14th . . .

The acreage for West Point must include Camp Buckner, where the undergrads spend their summers training. The band used to bus out there every Saturday and Sunday for parades and inspections. Not our favorite gigs!
 
This is surprising to me in that I would have guessed Land Grant colleges to have topped the list.
 
Cornell (NYS Land Grant College) owns 19,745 acres but only 745 of those comprise the main campus in Ithaca
