UConn is Georgia State

Watched some of Memphis vs. Georgia State. Mismatch was very similar to UConn vs Boise and UCF. GS has a QB who is a bit of a runner, short passes ok but nothing medium to long. Defense just too weak and slow with many missed tackles and long plays. Any cutback by ball carrier lead to many, many yards.

UConn has looked like GS is the bad news.

Good news is GS has a victory at home 24-20 over Kennesaw who Massey has at 141. Massey has Rhode Island at 143. That implies that UConn, even though vastly overmatched as was GS against big time offenses, should be in at least a competitive game against RI and maybe win.

HCRE2.0 needs to field a competitive team Saturday, no talent or youth excuses.

Same here. Watched an unstoppable Memphis offense and thought it all looked eerily familiar.

Probably just flashbacks because of last fall...
