Is Toscano already too small with a capacity of 2600? I have a feeling we may be following the Gampel plan here with an expansion within a year or two after it opens.

Yes, of course, by design. It forces the school to use XL for big games.

Yes, of course, by design. It forces the school to use XL for big games.

The XL has a 9000 seat capacity for hockey and we are currently averaging a little over 3000. It costs $20,000 to lease it, plus a use fee, plus $3 per seat surcharge. You’d have to think it would be way more cost-effective to just add another 500 seats to Toscano.

I’m not complaining. It’s a beautiful rink and I’m looking forward to seeing a game there. For what it’s worth, seeing games in the XL is a blast as well. I just wish the CDRA would price gouge us.
