UConn in the Pros December 2025

Cleaned it up a lot in the second half.
Yeah - just 1. His stat line was killed a bit by people missing shots off his passes. Wemby even chunked a layup off his lob.

Made two clutch foul shots - played great D on Williams on a key stop with about a minute to go. And sorta forced SGA into a stumbling pass late that resulted in Chet going 1-2 at the line.

He also didn’t get any calls. He could have had four or five and ones.

OKC spent the end of the game screening Steph off of SGA.

Tried to attack him twice, one with JDub and he forced a tough middy that missed.

Second time Shai had to do 4 different crossovers to try and get by to the point he was too off balance to go up once he finally did.

Knocked down two clutch FTs to finish it. Swished the second one.

This is his 2nd year man.

Vassell asleep at the wheel there at the end, lets Caruso crash in for the OReb and probably got away with a foul there

Although I do have to wonder how this is a foul on Harper, best team gets a lot of breaks.

Because he was in his landing space and that's dangerous for the shooter - it was almost a flagrant based on the new rules.

I think the flagrant rules are goofy but that's a reasonable foul.

I've got the Spurs money line at 5.8-1. Hoping Steph adds to his legend.
Here's the only way to sports bet, imo. Only bet when you get Profit Boost. Really, 6-1 on the Spurs last night was nuts.

Against the best basketball team in the world, and an all time team in the NBA and defending champs.

The sky is the limit with this kid!

Castle is a beast. He is putting up all these offense numbers while dawging SGA on defense end.
It's very frustrating that he hounded SGA for 20+ secs and SGA dished it to someone else, and his team committed fouls right away....
Spurs young core with Wemby/Castle/Harper is one of the best in the league now, if not the best.

I love how "on brand" Cam is.
  • He'd rather play on the road than at home.
  • His favorite games were road games where the opposing team was the loudest
  • He loved beating an opposing team on senior night so their seniors last game on their court is a loss.
  • He loved playing at MSG at Connecticut because it was a second home court, but he loves it more as a pro because of how hostile Knicks fans are.
You gotta love that guy, he is the ultimate competitor.

Castle's physical strength and craftiness to finish in the paint is bonkers!
There are 4 or 5 of crazy, acrobatic finishes you will see in this video.
His turn over is non-issue, he played too unselfishly, and those passes are him trying to get his team involved. as soon as he and his team mates realize his is the alpha, he'd better of taking it to the rack.
He could have 10 assists if his team mates makes those wide open 3s.
Also funny enough, he knocked down the Spurs first 3 pointer, and opened it up after 0-13 misses.

I don't get it because he really kicked his feet forward.

It's a stupid rule but it's the rule. Defenders can no longer challenge shots by running towards shooters. It doesn't even matter if the shooter jumps and lands two feet in front of where they jumped from. Everything is designed for the offensive player nowadays and SGA is a master at taking advantage of it. It's easier to score now than it has been in the past 60 years.

Not sure if it’s because it was against OKC’s defense or if he just doesn’t get respect yet because he’s young. But of the 8 shots in that video, he probably got fouled on 5 of them for what should be and1s

In a league where a lot of star players hunt for fouls instead of playing basketball, it’s refreshing to see a guy that just fights through contact and focuses on getting the bucket instead. I LOVE watching Steph play

Seemed like he manipulated his landing space. Doesn't pass my reasonable test.
