It is notable that the Cincinnati Enquirer (the Cincy equivalent of the Hartford Courant) did not see fit to cover a visit by the #1 team in the nation to their town last night. I was surprised when Nan's links did not include anything from any Cincinnati newspaper, especially the Enquirer. I went to the Enquirer web site and saw nothing listed, so I did a search for "women's basketball" and saw an article about the Northern Kentucky game and about several high school games, but nothing about what took place at Fifth Third arena last night a few blocks from the Enquirer's main office.

I realize that the team hasn't been very successful this year, but it must be depressing for Jamelle to work in an environment of such complete local ennui.

I really wonder what is up with Cincinnati - is Jemelle really that bad a recruiter or is the athletic department and school particularly unattractive to recruits. Jemelle seems to be a good coach but without the horses to compete.

If your team losses and no one hears the noise, did it really happen?
