Portland is doing a really bad job of tanking. Lol
with Scoot Henderson now starting to show signs they have too many good players in their rotation to tank. funny thing is Phoenix would have been much better off keeping Ayton and Camara to complement Booker and Durant, both guys just destroyed Phoenix in back to back games.

DNP-Coach's Decision for Clingan last night. According to this article, Clingan is now the third-string center behind Ayton and Williams, so his minutes may be limited moving forward. However, Robert Williams is a walking ambulance, so this might not be quite so bad for Cling as it sounds...

Coach Chauncey Billups said Robert Williams is expected to take over Clingan's minutes during Tuesday's game versus the Pacers, Sean Highkin of Rip City Radio 620 Portland reports.

Clingan hasn't picked up an injury but is expected to cede his minutes to Williams, who was sidelined for Portland's previous four contests. Williams has played in only 17 of the Trail Blazers' 50 contests this season, so Clingan should operate as the team's backup center to Deandre Ayton when Williams is forced to sit out.

This post just made me realize that the root for ambulance (ambul-) is "to walk." I'm guessing it's because they used to walk people on stretchers?

Steph gets up so fast on those two handed monster dunks in the lane
I honestly think he's the best in game dunker in the NBA right now. He dunks on people a lot and that's something I don't see much of around the league.

I’m not saying I’m helping, but this was my kindergartner’s school outfit yesterday:

The calls about Castle not being a great athlete were always really strange but he seems even more explosive in the NBA. He just threw down a sweet windmill on the throw ahead. He's just a beast.

Spurs are going to be contenders pretty quickly.

It's insane how quickly the Spurs went from being trash to having themselves the best big three in the NBA for the next many years. They luck out getting the #1 pick in a draft with a generational type talent, they draft the best player in the next draft with the #4 pick, and then they get De'Aaron Fox for basically Zach Collins and a future first rounder.

Castle seems to have forgotten how to play basketball the last 5 minutes.
Had him on Trae down stretch before he was pulled. Not sure why he’s not back in on this last possession.

He is a man out there already.

I think the Fox trade was a bad sign. The team wants to accelerate his development. His shooting now becomes critical. He was still +3 tonight but not starting and playing 20 minutes……I think the organization got impatient.

An All Star level talent had his representation openly communicate that he wanted to play for them and the Spurs got him for scraps without giving up any young players, it's not impatience its a no brainer when you have that fall in your lap. Steph will probably be a full-time starter next season when CP3 either retires or moves to the bench and will start games here and there this season.

Fox had 24 points and 11 assists. So much for him playing off ball. Lol

I don’t think they got impatient. You just don’t turn down a talent like Fox. It’s unfortunate they won’t move Steph so he can have the room to develop into the player he can be too.

Him running the show with Lavine, Demar, Murray, and Sabonis would’ve been really fun to watch.

Malik Monk has morphed into a superior playmaker than Fox while still being a scorer so there's no guarantee Castle would have started over him either. Monk becoming what he is made it pretty easy for them to move off Fox once it became clear he wasn't gonna re-sign.

He for sure is (whose game was pretty similar to Solo’s in college funny enough).

But I’m not sure if the Kings are comfortable trusting him with their future just yet. I’m not even sure if he’s better as their starting PG or as a 6MOTY player.

He for sure has been balling lately though.
