Looked pretty good. He was 4-8, but two misses were when he got 911 passes with one second on the shot clock and forced something up low percentage. Pretty good efficiency all around. Two assists were a little generous (passing to a guy at the 3 point line who drove for a layup). On the down side, he was blown by on D and fouled a couple times, but that’s probably going to be the case when he gets minutes. He’ll be hunted a little. .

He’s no slouch athletically but his change of speed ability is elite and plays up the athleticism and quickness so much.
I’ve seen him do that super hesitation step when he gets to the hoop a few times this year. It’s definitely not a panic move to try to get open, it’s something he works on. I don’t see anyone else doing that (Luka sometimes), could become Steph’s signature move in the league. How do you stop a strong 6’6 CG with elite change of pace once he’s already at the rim?

Cam finished with 14 points, 5 assists, and 4 rebounds in 25 minutes. The Grizzlies blew out the Wizards, but he got some minutes before the game was out of reach.
I get the feeling the Grizz really like Cam. They didn't waste time putting him in the bigs when he came back from injury. His G-League time was just to help get into game shape apparently. It looks like he has a job as a 2nd team regular.

It is still crazy how much talent we lost off last year's team. I think maybe they will end of being the best or 2nd best team to 2004 in regards to NBA talent.

The announcers are already referring to him as the "Hesi King"

Only action yesterday was James Bouknight in the G League with 19 points, 5 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 steal, 1 block on 8-15 (2-7 from 3)

His old Charlotte G League teammate Bryce McGowens is on his Portland team too and is lighting it up this year with 29.4 PPG, jeez

When's Cling Kong gonna get back on the court? Obviously the initial 2 week estimate was optimistic.

Portland is in disarray without him.

The ESPN pregame report said Dec. 19. But that obviously isn’t set in stone. They could decide he’s not ready and slide it back. Plus his conditioning will probably have a setback.

They called him the hesi-king

They are talking the end of the month.

1-6 since Cling Kong went down. Teams scored more than 120 points against the Blazers 3 times in 17 games Clingan played. Since he went down, they've given up 120+ in 5 of 7 games.
Good and I'm sure their organization doesn't care either as they will be in the Cooper Flag sweepstakes. They gotta take their time getting Clingan back as he hopefully gets enough game experience in his rookie year.

Billups expects Clingan to play Friday. Here’s some video of him working out. He was also taking part in some pregame stuff before the Lakers game.

That is not much a validation that he is ready to play. Was that video in slow motion as even at his size if he takes that long to shoot someone is going to be right on him as he shoots. That brace on his knee is pretty significant. I hope they don’t rush them back since as noted they are in the Flagg sweepstakes.
