Defensive Master Class!!
And he went ahead of Castle…….Defensive Master Class!!
This is just his second year. He’s only 21.No doubt - may already be on an all defense team.
Maybe instead of 1000 threes he can do a 1000 hook shots and turnaround jumpers from the post this summer. It’s not like he doesn’t have the touch for it.He doesn't have an offensive game, playoff basketball is a completely different animal than regular season. Kon Knueppel couldn't even make 3s with "playoff" pressure in the play-in games, it's no surprise DC isn't making them. Needs to be spending all offseason continuing to make improvements with his body and figuring out reliable offense that he can go to. He's likely years away from being a reliable offensive threat in the playoffs if it ever comes together.
He’s really going to be All NBA for years to come. One of the best PGs in the league.
Not going to look so crazy to say he was an SGA, Cade Cunningham level player.
The play of Rob Williams has been a factor. DC’s offense has been a little rough, but he also just isn’t on the court as much because Time Lord is playing out of his mind. I think that playing some meaningful playoff basketball games is going to be an invaluable experience for Clingan going forward.Castle and Harper carried the Spurs without Wemby. Steph 33pts/5ast on 10-18 (3-4 3P, 10-11 FT!). Harper 27 pts/10reb on 9-12 (4-5 3P, 5-6 FT)
Clingan struggled again. 7 points and 11 rebounds but on 2-6 shooting in 19 minutes. Anyone know what’s going on with him? Hasn’t had a good game all postseason
Not sure where go put this but uhhh can Tarris Reed hit dribble combo threes?
his trainer posted this last summer, all these guys can do this in workouts/drills. he'll probably show well at the combine, getting the leash and confidence to shoot them in games will come with time
I'm not even a great lip-reader but even I could see Hurley calmly tell Tarris after that brick "Don't you ever bleepin' do that again!" He nodded. Not sure where go put this but uhhh can Tarris Reed hit dribble combo threes?
I'm going ReedWho goes earlier, him or AK?
I'm going Reed
Ngongba and Krivas going back to school helps TarrisCould be close - either squeeze into R1?

Yeah I was down on this guy when the draft was about to happen but lots of people were high on Sheppard. I mentioned that Castle has so much more potential due to his size and over all athletic ability over Reed. And he went ahead of Castle…….
Three teams are going to be forever sad they didn’t take Steph.

Didn't Minnesota win and up 3-1 and Dosunmu have 43 points?Non UConn thought but it's a shame Minnesota found the perfect piece in Dosunmu to make a postseason run and now their season has potentially gone down the drain in 24 first half minutes.
Divincenzo tore his achilles and Edwards hyperextended his knee and never returned from the lockerroom, all in the first half. If Edwards is cooked, and he's already battling runner's knee in the other knee and clearly compromised, their season is over.Didn't Minnesota win and up 3-1 and Dosunmu have 43 points?
I believe he is already the best on ball perimeter defender in the league.
His ability offensively to get two feet into the lane & make quality decisions is high level.
If he can continue to improve on his outside shooting- he will be a top 5 player in the league in years to come.

High-major d1 players are really fricken good. I remember people being shocked in some summer video that Brimah had handles. Veryyyy different thing to do that against an NBA defense.
Tell me about it. I have 'em at 40-1.Non UConn thought but it's a shame Minnesota found the perfect piece in Dosunmu to make a postseason run and now their season has potentially gone down the drain in 24 first half minutes.

Insane that we live in a time where people can push for a 7’ to be a floor spacer 3 point shooter while simultaneously thinking it’s impossible to develop some go to post moves.I just don’t think he’s ever going to have much of a post game. On defense he has long arms and great timing and covers a lot of ground, but then on offense he goes from pterodactyl to T-Rex. He has a low release point, isn’t quick or fluid, and gets his shot blocked a lot. His future is defensive anchor, rebounder, screener, and a combination of rim runs, assisted dunks, and putbacks with a little bit of floor spacing to get him into that 15 and 12 type of big.
Doesn't have to have an elite post game but when you get hit on the roll and have 5-8ft in front of you, at 7'2" he has to be able to fix his own plate and score. Unless it's a clear dunk or a lob the guards/wings don't even really look to pass to him much off the pick and roll. If he had some reliable moves and touch around the rim that would change.I just don’t think he’s ever going to have much of a post game.
