I think he was fatigued, evident by the short shots. But he too often drives too deep getting himself in trouble, gets blocked/shoots from under the backboard a lot

Quality minutes from Drummond again tonight, wasn't expecting Bos to struggle this much with Philly without Embiid playing

It's sad. I saw one report that said Dundon offered the job to the Iowa State guy at a cut of his current salary. His flacks are saying he's not cheap but instead of t-shirts for the 1st playoff game in ions he gave out terrible towels. Hartford Athletic gives out terrible towels.

Yeah, wasn’t his excuse that he didn't want the fans to be holding onto the shirts and not waving and jumping around?

I don't understand the plus/minus for Andre being -17 with those stats. Is his defense so bad that other teams scores so much? Other 2 reserves had - also but not nearly this bad.

One game is often a bad sample size for +/- The other team can go on a run with you on the floor and it’s totally not your fault.

Castle and Harper carried the Spurs without Wemby. Steph 33pts/5ast on 10-18 (3-4 3P, 10-11 FT!). Harper 27 pts/10reb on 9-12 (4-5 3P, 5-6 FT)

Clingan struggled again. 7 points and 11 rebounds but on 2-6 shooting in 19 minutes. Anyone know what’s going on with him? Hasn’t had a good game all postseason
 
Steph Castle is an elite NBA talent and still just scratching the surface. He is a joy to watch and plays for one of the premier organizations in sports. If you haven’t jumped on the Spurs bandwagon yet, I suggest you do so. Steph and the Spurs are a perfect match.

He doesn’t have a good way to score outside of 3s and putbacks.

But this place thinks him spending all season jacking 3s for reps was a good thing and not working on anything else.
 
Besides the Flagg, who are some Hurley near misses that turned out to be studs in the pros?

I remember we were in the final 2 for Bones Hyland. Somehow lost to VCU bc there was a bit of a log jam at Guard.

He’s really going to be All NBA for years to come. One of the best PGs in the league.

Not going to look so crazy to say he was an SGA, Cade Cunningham level player.

He doesn't have an offensive game, playoff basketball is a completely different animal than regular season. Kon Knueppel couldn't even make 3s with "playoff" pressure in the play-in games, it's no surprise DC isn't making them. Needs to be spending all offseason continuing to make improvements with his body and figuring out reliable offense that he can go to. He's likely years away from being a reliable offensive threat in the playoffs if it ever comes together.

DC still looks like a fawn out there - a little lost. A step slow. Agree he has to keep building his body up. Good experience for him.

TBF, Portland's offense did not ask him to play down low all season. He needs a low-post game but it will come, he's shown some flashes.

I believe he is already the best on ball perimeter defender in the league.

His ability offensively to get two feet into the lane & make quality decisions is high level.

If he can continue to improve on his outside shooting- he will be a top 5 player in the league in years to come.
