UConn in the NBA April ‘25

@HuskyWarrior611 I think you would appreciate these comments after the Zubac discussion in relation to DC the other day, and I agree with them. The 3s from DC have been nice but I would really like to see him lock in with a dedicated skills coach that can get him some moves in the post and clean up his footwork

If you combined Sanogo (offensive skills and muscle) with Clingan (size and height), that would be like secret player cheat code in a NBA 2025 video game.

Thanks for sharing this. Basketball is basketball at the end of the day. It’s why the whole “modern game” thing can be kind of frustrating at times.

It’s kind of sad how much basketball culture and trainers are influenced by the “modern game” train of thought. Something that Europeans don’t seem to abide by.

One thing to look out for over the next few years. The return of real PFs.

Evan Mobley
KAT
Bam
Anthony Davis
Jaren Jackson Jr
Etc.

Wait till the Spurs get a center to put next to Wemby (wish they did it with Clingan). That’s what will happen to the perimeter based bigs moving forward.

What happened to Dre? Is dic going his same routine? It seems disincentive the dunk contest he’s disappeared for the bucks.

You dont need to combine anything. If DC dedicates himself to developing a post game he has all the tools to be excellent in the post. The reason Sanogo was so good was because his footwork is top notch DCs is not. I remember seeing Sanogo in probably his first game at Uconn and when i saw his footwork i thought to myself this guy is going to be really, really good.

They traded for Kyle Kuzma - plugged him in at 3 and Jackson lost his spot.

You're missing what Ime has done with Sengun & Adams over the past month. They absolutely murdered OKC last night, too. It's insane.

Can’t go 100% from the field shooting 3s.

Cam disagrees with his 1-1 today. JK but seriously Cam got five minutes and got a three.
Jackson got 3 minutes and got a rebound.

Slow day for UConn guys.

Haha honestly Cam should get more time out there. Hes so good and efficient.

Just know if he ever gets a chance to start in SLAMMING his points over.

With all the great players we’ve had, it’s interesting to see that Rudy may be the most relevant in culture to this day lol

Tyrese has been glued to the bench recently. Nets stink but I thought Tyrese was having himself a good year so far.
