Once again, Providence wins the battle, but UConn will end up winning the war.

Who knows - maybe someday they can start winning the head-to-head battles too.

This is going down similarly to the play of this team this year. In the game for a while but a big goose egg in the end.

Boston's ABC affiliate was doing a piece on Tilton and interviewed him. They asked him his top choices and neither UConn nor PC were mentioned. It was basically Kentucky, long pause, and then threw out a list of other schools including G-town and Florida.

By head to head; do you mean on the floor?

I'm just thinking he means for recruits that both are all in for, though even that is an odd statement. Providence has gotten Dunn and Coleman over UConn recently, though I would say UConn didn't go extremely hard after Dunn (mistake IMO) and favored Lamb over Coleman (understandable).

If I had my druthers, I would have preferred to have won last nite's game over any potential recruit.
IMHO Noel has always seemed like a KY recruit.

First, he's going to Kentucky as the top recruits we want always do. Say what you want about Coach Cal but he's a smooth talker. He could charm the pants off Mother Teresa (when she was alive of course). Second, enough with these 'final' lists of 5 schools. Wake me up when it's down to two.
