Starting this thread to help us keep track of where Huskies stand in relation to the Naismith awards (some of which are newly created this year.

Hoophall Awards

• PG Lieberman Award Kia has made the down select to 10.
• SG Ann Meyers Drysdale Award is new this year and KLS has made the down select to 10.
• SF Cheryl Miller Award is also new and Gabby has made the down select to 10
• PF Katrina McClain Award is also new this year and Napheesa Collier was included in pre-season watch list for this award.
• C Lisa Leslie Award is also new and Azura Stevens was included in the pre-season watch list for the award

Maybe when they retire. UCONN's mount Rushmore of players (Sue, DT, Maya, Stewie & Tina) all played in the last Olympics and will likely play in the up coming World Championship.

Gabby has to be a lock for the Miller Award. Who else even comes close? Cunningham?

I hate to judge players by off games but...I've watched Nared and Thomas this season and they were nowhere close to award-worthy.
