Ice Polo reference aside, it looks like the then Storrs Agricultural School would have been a pretty tough team.
"Taken some time before 1893, when the Storrs Agricultural School (SAS) was renamed the Storrs Agricultural College (two more name changes would follow before we finally became the University of Connecticut in 1939), this shows the school's "ice polo" team making the best of the New England winter weather."
