So is the non-nesn streaming free or no? When I click on it it asks for billing info - which is fine, but if I don't have to pay I won't.

Yep- its basically a time buy. UMass athletics buys the block of time, they get to apportion the ads.

Not to mention interviews with UMass coaches as well. I suppose it may all also be part of the deal UMass football has with NESN as well.

Hopefully UConn got the cobwebs with this game tonight. Board the bus and get ready for tomorrow. UMass isn’t the number 7 team in the country for nothing. UConn needs to be much better in their own zone tomorrow night and limit their turnovers.
 
Only had 14 practices so far, 36 hours' notice to go from Vermont to no game to UMass is...a tough go
