I miss Akok. If he can be more consistent on O he’s gonna be a star. I think he was banged up in the Tulane game and idk if he tried to fight through it but it looked like he was certainly not 100% idk if that eventually led to the Achilles injury. Now that he doesn’t have too carry as many minutes and should be stronger back he’s gonna be a huge producer on our team. He was really forced into a lot of minutes as a “freshman”

He's a special kid. From right out of the gate, there were stretches of game where he was totally dominant on defense (the beginning of that IU game, for example). Even when he was less effective, it was totally obvious how hard he was playing.
Can't wait to see him in action again. Really hope he recovers fully and we get to see at least some of his enormous potential fulfilled.
