UConn has left the building - 12 years ago today

I don't know if it is true, but it sure as hell feels like we have many more of these moments than other schools.

I can't remember the reason, perhaps work or something dumb, but I recall not seeing this game live. My younger brother texted me something like "did you see Shabazz tonight?" and I immediately got annoyed that I missed it.

Of all the huge moments in our program history since I started watching in '94, I haven't missed many.

That was as sick as I have ever been and gone to a game, or any multi-hour event. I had been in bed all Thanksgiving weekend, with my fever bouncing like a bungy jumper starting on Thanksgiving, getting as high as 102. I had a whole bunch of fun stuff planned with my kids that weekend, including the football game against Rutgers, and I couldn't do any of it, so I went to that Florida game out of guilt as much as any other reason, because I was still so sick. I had half a pharmacy in me just to stay upright, but I was certainly glad I went.
