Freshman Dettmann is pitching well so far...offense has stranded 3 in scoring position thus far. 0-0 in the 3rd.

Hartford is 4-16 and was swept by Oklahoma and Kansas State earlier in the year. Beat them.

we need a easy win here. OK win doesn't look as good right now but it be what we hang our hat on in the end.

We are completely dominating the game, which is why we are losing 1-0. We love to outhit people and lose. Snakebit.

Dettmann is throwing heat, but has walked a few guys.

Dettmann has pitched great, despite the walks. He'll grow out of that.

11-1. Top 6...we are outhitting them 14-3.

Oklahoma didn't dominate Hartford in any of their games with them. OU is badly overrated, but we might just be better than them. Then again, I doubt OU would lose to the likes of URI or Michigan.

BTW, San Diego is 21-6 right now. We owned them pretty good last year and they took their lumps as a team with mostly freshman, but are better for it this year. I feel we are better this year than San Diego was last year.

USCe is 17-7, but has not played that well. Mississippi State is holding their own in SEC play.

Nice to see the freshman pitching well. I know it is only UHart but it will give him confidence. These are games we just need to win. Can't take anyone lightly.

UHart was a game we had to win, same goes with CCSU. We can't let up in OOC games. we need to keep momentum going.

Cross looked like he was popping glove in the 9th from where I was sitting. Dettman was throwing some good heat too it seemed. Tough to really see the difference between say 90 and 94 mph in person without a gun or without actually being in the box though.

The weather should clear up by 2 or 3 I think so we should be good to get the game in. I always worry that bad weather will reduce the advantage we get from having more talent. Not an excuse for losing to CCSU but sloppy weather does tend to give worse teams a better shot. There was actually horrible weather in that game when CCSU broke our ridiculous 24 game win streak or whatever it was.
