Article from Roger Cleaveland with some quotes from Hurley. I know Hurley's belief in the sophomore class and his reluctance to take a high impact transfer has been discussed ad nauseam, but figured I'd post this for the Hurley quotes. A few about Ross not being able to transfer what he does in practice to games.
Hurley stands by his decision to count on the development of the sophomore class as a critical piece in this year’s success.
“I don’t regret that,” Hurley said. “I love those three kids. If they end up being with us long term and finishing their careers here, they will achieve the things we’ve proclaimed about them. Some things just don’t happen on your timeline in life.
“For some guys it is their junior year. You are hoping it is going to be their sophomore year where they make this huge jump, but internally we believe in those guys.”
