UConn/G'Town thread

14 point lead evaporates in what seemed like 2 minutes.....can't happen!

6 - 1 fouls....refs clearly doing what they can to keep gtown in the game! What a joke.

Believe it or not the interior defense that allowed this GT run started when Enoch was removed from the game and Durham and Vital were inserted.

Throwing away what's been a great effort thus far. 13 unanswered by GTown.

Adjustment time.

We had our foot on their throats prior to that sub pattern.

That dumb offensive foul is exactly why I'd rather see Rodney just shoot the open 3 when he gets it. Dude has no feel for the rhythm of the offense.
He's has the lowest IQ of any guard I've ever seen. He's such a nice guy but his game is conducive to losing basketball. We are another guard away from being a damn good basketball team.

We can't get complacent here. Georgetown is playing at home with a lot of energy. We're looking good so far but I think we need to focus a little harder down the stretch.

1. Brimah needs to lead rather than being a liability
2. Jalen maintain the tempo
3. Facey continue to show his versatility

Love where Ollie has taken this team. Let's finish strong!

I'm not a huge bball expert but watch a lot. Won't claim to analyze as well as others though. My question-do we seriously foul that much more than other teams? Or we just still get called for it when others don't?

Purv having a bad stretch, but he'll end up winning this thing.

We do. Our bigs have bad habits, which accounts for most of it. And we only have one guard who's a threat on dribble penetration, which also limits us.

FWIW I think this game has been well officiated.

How is that not flagrant???
That was clearly a basketball play. Brimah got him off his feet with a good upfake.

Game has been very well officiated.

Team fouls all evened up now, miraculously, 6 on each team

Purvis comes off the curl, catches at the foul line and stares at an open 13-footer.

So naturally he doesn't shoot it, and that leads to a UConn turnover, and now we have a LJ Peak 3-point play at the other end.

Rodney is the undisputed king of the -5 point play.
