UConn Get Together in New Orleans

I'll be down there with my best mate and would love to hang out with some other folks. Worst case I'll fill up a styrofoam cooler with beer and drink with some other fans in a parking lot.
 
I'll be coming in via car late around noon.

Weather looks like it may be an issue. Forecast is rain. Good news. It'll be a warm rain.

Tailgating rules and regs look reasonable but the areas are spread out.

Any advice from last year's crowd?

Not complaining either. Just want to make sure people are prepared.

I'll have a canopy. Just need to know where to bring it.

The official Tulane tailgate has a band called Cowboy Mouth playing at it, I think at 12:30. If you've got nothing set for pre-game, check them out - they're a damn good time.

I wish to hell that I could be at the game tomorrow.
I got to JazzFest every year and NO is by far my favorite city.

As ucinnc suggests above, DEFINITELY GO SEE COWBOY MOUTH if you can for a raucous party time re-game vibe.

What time are people planning on getting to the stadium?

My son came down with the crud today and I'm heading in solo. Give me a location and I can at least provide a cooler, some Abita beers, canopy and tunes.

We have absolutely no plans. The wife wants to go to the freaking zoo. I'm not site that's gonna be happening.
