This has probably been brought up before but why doesn't Uconn try to expand its presence in southern CT by playing games near New Haven? Uconn has a solid fan base down in that area, it is densely populated and it expands the UConn brand footprint into NYC. To me it makes sense to split up XL Center games and schedule more at a venue in southern ct. Hartford isn't exactly happening lately... Especially the XL Center.

xl has a contract for all off campus games in ct. its one of the dumb deas former ppl signed. makes harbor yard a issue until that deal is up. uconn needs to buyout xl for a /quinn/sh/yale type game if thats why your thinking. i dont even want to rant on it....this is like #187 on the list of things to handle right now...
