Lafayette and a Sun Belt foe, that will really spark up fan interest.

The home schedule's gonna be relatively weak most years, especially initially. The stronger opponents will most always be the 1-&-done pay-out road games (Ole Miss, Clemson, Michigan, Ohio St, etc). We'll get some decent home games in later years that will have local fan appeal (Syracuse, BCU, Temple). Sprinkle in some other mid-lower tier P5 schools (UNC, Maryland, Purdue, NC State, etc) and it won't be all that bad.

I don’t think Uconn should be calling any P5 schools lower tier when you they haven’t beaten ANY P5 school in a long time

You should have stopped at "I don't think". It was qualified as mid-lower tier P5 which means they weren't being compared to us but to other P5 schools.

The Vandy game is worth it purely because of Nashville. Amazing city if you haven't been. Perfect for a football weekend -- campus/stadium is walkable from downtown which has a ton of great bars and restaurants. Weather in early October would be perfect as well.

Doesn't Georgia State play at the Braves' old Turner Field/1996 Olympic Stadium? Good for recruiting to get a game in Georgia as well, especially right in downtown Atlanta.

If you're gonna pretend to not get my point, then I can't help you.

By the way, I'm not UConn. I'm just one fan.

yes because Maine and Tulsa were really what we were looking for.
You get out of the mud by not playing in it. We made strong scheduling moves prior, these aren’t.

So is Vandy another $7 figure game? We already have two next year and this would be a third.

Vandy had a tough season last year...won one conference game...went 3-9. They, also, might be hungry.

so stop ducking us
Those schools aren’t ducking-the reality is they don’t improve their teams by playing
a 1-11 team. Uconn needs to show improvement against Liberty and Maine and New Mexico

Pro tip: Don't waste your time on the Grand Ole Opry. Brutally awful.

Don't go as in don't see a performance, or don't go as a tour during the day?
