I was an older grad student at UConn when Jazz died. While on my way to class, I remember walking by the area where he died, and I thought how could this happen to this young man who was so full of life.

I was on a field trip to Storrs with my hs senior class. I think it may have been all the accounting students. I don't remember much, but I was impressed by how much the community came together. We New Englanders can be pretty crotchety, but when it really matters people are there.

Actually got to meet him and became cool, before he passed a couple of months prior. I was working at the Thirsty and he came in with AD, and Bags back in 09” and we was A1, Day1. RIP legend.
