Assistant pool has been an issue around UConn for a several years going back to Randy Edsall. Director of Athletics Warde Manuel delivered on his promise to up the pool and has said UConn will be towards the top I the American in paying assistant coaches.<<
... and this doesn't include the non-coaching Director of Football Operations position or the Director of Player Personnel position (new).

As was suggested earlier, if you reject too many of these good, but not perfect, opportunities, they may not be extended to you in the future. Looks like Louisville did just that!
