Not a bad read....

>>2014 EXPECTATIONS

With a once again intriguing non-conference schedule along with some new, unfamiliar conference opponents, UConn’s record is particularly challenging to predict. The team should improve at the majority of positions and it should equate to an improved record after going 3-9 last season.

The Huskies get to play two of the top teams in the AAC in UCF and Cincinnati at home as well as BYU and Boise State at Rentschler field to open the year. This team is beyond motivated to end the 3-year streak of not reaching the post season, and there’s no question they have the tools and the schedule to do so.

Predicted Record: 7-5<<

I would certainly prefer a better record, but 7-5 would be a solid first step beck to respectability!

If we sort out our QB play we could win a lot of games.

Phillips would be a huge blow except the guy I think will be the break out player WR Thomas Lucas is waiting in the wings.

The author mentions EJ Norris at TE. If I remember correctly he has since left the program correct?? I would like to see Alec Bloom step in and see some time if he is physically ready to contribute. Kid has incredible size and athleticism for the TE position.

I will do cartwheels at 7-5.

7-5 is a satisfied grin.

The cartwheels start at 8 wins.

I would take 7-5 in a duck*ing heartbeat......

Huge challenges and unknowns this season.

7-5 is a satisfied grin.

The cartwheels start at 8 wins.

I'm guessing 2-2 OOC. Anything more than that is gravy.

5-3 in conference is about our ceiling.

I believe in Diaco, but this ain't gonna happen overnight.
