They're here. http://dining.uconn.edu/food-trucks/
I knew these were in the works a couple years ago. The wheels turn slowly! I mentioned it to HFD and it was the only time is saw him go on a positive rant. I cannot imagine that they won't be at the games. If they're not, epic fail. One of them is branded for the blue cow. For those of you that don't know, that's the ice cream bar in the student union. They of course serve dairy bar ice cream. So hope to see them at the game and to HFD, wherever you are, see? Maybe they do get it! Follow @uconnicecreamtruck on Twitter for the details. There's a photo there, too. If someone could insert it, appreciated.

Here is an additional thread on the topic that was created earlier this summer on the Alumni Board: http://the-boneyard.com/threads/uconn-dining-jumps-on-the-food-truck-bandwagon.78439/

If you guys haven't had a chance to check it out yet, check the Alumni Board out. It has a lot of stuff like this that the university is implementing, as well as updates on campus expansion ideas and student life and campus amenities.

Interesting factoid: DP Dough originated at UMASS. The Amherst location closed in 2013 despite DP being in 15 or so states at this point. If your fans won't support DP dough, they won't support anything.

Pretty funny. My brother owned the Food for Thought truck for a couple of years in the late 70's while he was in school.
