In one of the informal interviews, Geno was asked what he thought of Inês’s block on the fast break. He smiled and said something like, “I assumed she was going to foul so I didn’t look in that direction. I guess I’ll have to watch it later, maybe after I’m retired.”

What a great interview Geno is. His pressers are, to me, one of the most enjoyable aspects of following UConn basketball. He's not a homer, he's knowledgeable (witness his informative comments about NIL), he dispenses candid praise to his opponent, and he truly has the betterment of the game of basketball at heart. And I think the reporters recognize that.
