Beat Stanford 3-1. Will meet Albany which upset #2 Maryland 2-1. Final 4 is next week in Maryland.

#3 UConn (18-3) v #12 Albany (20-2)

This season:
UNC split with Syracuse, winning 3-0 at home then losing 3-2 in the ACC tourney
UNC won at UConn 2-1
Syracuse beat Albany 2-1

History:
UConn has won 3 titles, including last year. And 11 final 4s.
UNC has won 6 titles, including 2009. The Heels were also runnersup in 2010, 2011, 2012, and reached the semis last year. 17 Final 4s.
Syracuse has been to 2 final 4s (2008, 2012), losing in the semis both times.
This is Albany's first final 4.

Are you kidding me with that deflecting tip on the second goal. That was just classic.

And the B10 just doesn't play field hockey at any real level, so wherever the rest of the MD teams are playing, the Terps' hockey team is still gotta be in the ACC.
