Not counting the Cincy game:

A few team stats:

Fewest Penalties 21 - ranked 5th in FBS - (Disciplined team, RKG's)
Rushing Defense - ranked 11th in FBS - (After Cincy Game will be higher held to 2 yds/22 att. .01/att.
Red Zone Defense - ranked 18th in FBS
Time of Posession - ranked 24th in FBS

Individual stats:

Receptions - Noel Thomas # 9 - 55 for 631 yds
Punting - Justin Wain # 13, 36 for 1,498 yds. 41.6 avg. pp
Kicking - Bobby Puyol #36
Completion % # 48 (Bryant Sheriffs includes 2 Tyler Davis passes)
Tackles # 50 - Obi Melifonwu

With the O line clickin, Sheriffs and running backs will be more productive. With the defensive secondary adjustments and our tough run Defense we will be difficult to score points off of. With control possession, high percentage passing, few penalties and mistakes and one of the best kicking games in the country, we should finish strong. Top all this off with a mature, well conditioned team - Hold on to your tickets, It ain't over til it's over.

I got the stats from 2 different sources one was 5 games but I didn't bother to check the other because I knew Husky Medic would. I pride myself in my delegation skills. LOL

I was already playing in there today when I was sniffing USF defensive stats and just kept wandering... that's why it stood out.

Wasn't trying to be a jerk (that time ;)).

Pretty impressive that we're at #11 rush defense considering that playing Navy usually hurts that stat a little.

Can't believe Wain is only 13th in punting yardage. I expect he will be into the top 10 after this week.
