I don't want any part of the Thunder losing this series to the Griz. Currently down 2-1.

The KO to the NBA talk could reach sky-high levels.

I said a long time ago, in reference to DHam signing a letter of intent, that probably the only real way we would have to worry about KO leaving would be if we won a national title, the Thunder flamed out of the playoffs, and Durant gave his seal of approval.

I guess I'd have taken that deal back then, but I'm starting to feel a bit anxious. At least KO knows the NBA life enough to know Durant and/or Westbrook leaving would make OKC a lousy job in a hurry.

So what?

I don't understand why anyone is even slightly worried about Ollie going to the NBA right now.

Agreed, I think OKC or LAL could literally back up the Brinks truck in Glastonbury and he wouldn't flinch. People need to stop talking about this at least until KO's kids are off to college. He is UCONN through and through, blue blood courses through his veins

No, but Brooks offered Ollie a bench job the year he came as an assistant to UConn and in an interview Kevin Durant singled out Kevin Ollie as the reason that their team culture turned around and became professional and successful. With Ollie's extreme success in his first shot at a tournament, everyone knows that the NBA teams will come calling at some point. This poster is just illustrating that if OKC gets knocked out of the playoffs early, their coach Scott Brooks will possibly be fired and they would be looking for someone and Ollie fits the bill. So we are all rooting for OKC (I personally wouldn't mind seeing Caron, Thabeet, and Lamb get an NBA ring even if they don't get to see the court much)

If anyone knows the life span of a NBA head coach with one team it's KO. Don't see him leaving now. Maybe right before he reaches his age of if I don't do it now I won't do it at all. I just don't see him leaving a lifetime gig for maybe a 3-5 year gig. He respects Durant amormously, but if you don't have Labron you don't have a championship.

We need an updated Fishy Crayon Index so we know whether to be worried or not.

KO being linked with NBA jobs would only enhance the stature of the program amongst recruits.

This is the one job right now I think that could interest him, so we should be worried.

I understand the danger. And I'm happy to see three UConn guys on OKC. But I'm still rooting for Memphis. Can't help it. Can't stand Westbrook.

I'm not worried. I just said Im an OKC fan right now cuz I dont want Scott Brooks to get fired and names getting thrown around. I want this KO-NBA thing to cool off.

Because if he did it would be bad
But he's not interested in an NBA job.

He made that clear a couple weeks ago when he said so himself. And he made it even clearer with his actions a few years back, when he turned down a good gig with the OKC Thunder to be an assistant coach at UConn.

KO is here to stay for awhile.

Agreed, Durant needs a different PG with him. Westbrook wants to be the man every trip down the floor, which is fine and good, but not when you have an MVP next to you while you over-penetrate and jack shots
