Well I'm not that guy but on the day before the tournament started, I talked myself out of putting $200 on UConn (at 100-to-1 odds) to win the NC.. so yeah, I talked myself out of $20K... so yeah...

My buddy had UConn at 100-1. Threw ten bucks on it.

My wife won our bracket pool.

Each of them won a grand last night.

I won nothing but happiness but that's ok.

But I did use those $200 to buy a ticket for the Elite Eight game from an Iowa State fan in Sec. 116, Row 11 so it wasn't a total loss. To put that in perspective, I spent $235 for the Iowa State game and I was in Sec 227 in the very last row of the Garden.

Don't know if that beats 20K, but at least the $200 went to good use.
