Talent not great obviously, but we have as much as any other team in this league. This horrific play is the result of an incompetent coaching staff with an awful coaching philosophy
Exactly, clearly not talented enough to overcome this level of coaching ineptitude. I see UVA is playing well against Louisville. Teams can actually improve, we are going backwards this season. Zero good feelings left regarding this coach.

No longer buying "he inherited a mess" line. Things were bad, but in Davis, Adams and Jones he had 3 guys year one in the NFL. I think others will get a chance at well.

Diaco in a nutshell opening drive starts on opponents 40 not a single play design past the sticks, gets stuffed on the same qb sneak you ran what, 5 times last week? This dude doesn't get it. Playing conservative is leading to mounting losses. The objective can't be to keep games close. What a pus-sy.

Sherrifs also didnt need to slide on those 2 runs either could have had an extra 5-10 yards on those runs.

Im not gonna fault that. The playcalling from the 38 yard line was just atrocious.

Height of stupidity to think you can get a TD there. get 4-6 yards and let Puyol kick a 49 yarder on a sunny day with no wind. much better chance of that succeeding. But no, Bob wants to now be uber aggressor.....fml

The only thing consistent about us, is to consistently choose the wrong thing to do in every given situation.

Between a coach who does not understand offense or time management and an incompetent QB, we are going nowhere fast. Something has to change.

What a pathetic display of coaching.

He needs to be fired.

This is exactly where we were with P.

"He's getting another year" even though we know nothing is going to change and it will set us back another year.

I'm going to say something very unpopular, but I would argue that we were better under PP than this. I can't even believe it's true, but it is. we would play close with the teams that beat us (Michigan, etc.) and we would come up with a W.T.F win every now and then (Louisville).

This coach makes me feel like the game is over in the first quarter...

Diaco is the worst clock manager of any coach I've ever seen.
He has zero feel for anything. Just terrible. People keep saying coaches can improve in this area. Someone please tell Diaco this. He sucks.

Maybe if he'd occasionally chew a player's ass for doing something stupid, instead of clapping and high fiving them off the field after another failed offensive series, we might make some progress eliminating the stupid plays?

Starting to regret booking a hotel for BC. What happens when they get dump trucked by Temple? I then have to spend an entire weekend on a hopeless season?

BD really needs a BC win to mean something. The AD should already be making inquires on the next coach.

I think Diaco is the main problem on offense I think he should just coach up the D on the sideline while the offense is on the field. notice in the Cincy game he was coaching up the D with Poindexter while the O was on the field and surprise, surprise we were moving the football and scoring.

Sure when it appears there is nothing to lose, the team plays loose and makes plays. The second some coaching is involved the team plays tight and like crap. Count Diacola!!!

Diaco is a better coach Sunday thru Friday. Caretaker of the program. P was better on gameday. How sad is that. Diaco is awful once the ball gets kicked off.
