I was watching Chris's reaction and she seemed to be sticking up for what Nat did.

Yup, she clearly lowered her shoulder to bump Natalie.

Butler deserved the dead ball foul that she got. The whole incident was initiated by the EC player but Butler responded too physically. Nothing more than that.

Butler deserved the dead ball foul that she got. The whole incident was initiated by the EC player but Butler responded too physically. Nothing more than that.

In a way though it's nice to see a kid not back down and have to learn how to reign it in as opposed to being timid and trying to do something about being more aggressive. We usually have the 2nd problem.

Yeah they saw that Butler pushed her (not throwing her down). Nobody is denying that. But the play was over and the EC kid got in Butler's face.

Funny though with the Butler thing. If the same thing had happened in the SC game with one of our upperclassmen and one of their upperclassmen I have a hunch it would not have been a "T".
