This is all I thought about when I read the thread title:

Every basketball fan knows the truth, we all want to win

Pretending conference money is more important is both superficial and pretentious. The epitome of intellectual dishonesty

Then again, what are they supposed to talk about? Our achievements? C'mon man

“Resources are still important in the college sports landscape and being a member of the ACC will win out in playing the long game.”

How long does the long game have to be for ‘cuse? They barely have silver lined clouds on the horizon.

Oof. They do know that there are plenty of programs mired at the bottom of these big money conferences, don't they? I mean NC State has the same money and same number of titles. Cuse's lone title is just as far in the past from NC State's as Cuse's is to UConn's fifth title. 1983 - 2003 -2023.

So, congrats orange, you are NC State, except your signature coach is not nearly as well liked.

For Syracuse, the long game keeps getting longer.

As a private school Syracuse isn’t propped up by taxpayer money so it’s true they couldn’t afford to join the BE like UConn. That’s just how the cookie crumbles.

NC State has 2 titles. They're a behemoth compared to that travesty of a program in southern Canada's wasteland.
