The MaxPreps Small Schools All-American Team is comprised of 60 players who were members of teams that played in state enrollment divisions that are generally less than 1,000 students.
Small School Player of the Year was Florida commit Will Greer.
>>Grier beats out a pair of very worthy candidates for player of the year honors in Arkeel Newsome of Ansonia (Conn.) and Travis Quintanilla of Refugio (Texas). Newsome became just the ninth player in history to rush for more than 10,000 yards in a career, finishing with 3,867. His 187 career touchdowns rank third all-time. Newsome also helped lead Ansonia to three straight Class S state championships, and was previously featured in the Beyond the X series.<<
