Pretty much on point with my observation, social media has worked against us making it harder to "hide" local talent.

Win some games. The effect will be non-linear. Exponential increase, self-amplifying. Win a couple more than expected, more fans start coming to games, more high level talent wants to play for a winner, and the more games you win ... around it goes again and again. Where it stops nobody knows. The last time it stopped with the Fiesta Bowl.

Of course, as we have seen during the last seven years, the opposite is true. That's called exponential decay.
