Stu Gordon Stadium:
The playing surface at Evans Diamond at Stu Gordon Stadium features natural grass, along with a mixture of clay and crushed cinder infield surface. The outfield measurements at Evans are 320 feet down the lines, 365 to the power alleys and 395 to center field. The seating capacity is 2,500.

@huskymedic - I was poking around on the Cal website and found they have a "Cal Live Stream-2" that televises non-Pac 12 baseball home games (akin to Uconn+ where it's produced by the school for non-BE home games). I found the link online and it doesn't appear you need a subscription (again a la Uconn+). I'll post it if it looks like a go. I don't think the Pac-12 Network will carry this series. We'll see what happens.

Agreed - I just took the original broadcast info off the UConn schedule. Here is the link for: Cal Live Stream-2

Projected Starters:

Friday: LHP Garrett Coe (1-0, 1.69 ERA) vs. RHP Trey Newmann (0-0, 0.00 ERA)
Saturday: RHP Ian Cooke (0-0, 0.00 ERA) vs. LHP Luke Short (0-0, 3.37 ERA)
Sunday: RHP Stephen Quigley (0-1, 1.59 ERA) vs. RHP Tom Mayer (0-0, 6.00 ERA)

Thanks. Yes looks promising. The goal is to have the video and sync up Jonesy's radio call. haha

Good luck with the sync to Chris Jones broadcast of the game. I've been listening to Chris Jones doing UConn baseball games ever since he started doing the games way back when.

Anyone know if Broadhurst and Padilla are available to play this weekend?

Anyone know if Broadhurst and Padilla are available to play this weekend?
Padilla made the trip and I assume Broadhurst did too so that's a plus. Last weekend in Tampa Broadhurst was dressed and walking around with a bat with half swings. My optimistic assumption with Broadhurst is they played it safe last weekend, bought another week of rest and tonight it's a go. I'd be more surprised if Padilla played than Broadhurst since Broadhurst looked closer but don't know the impact of Padilla's surgery recovery. Desperately need Broadhurst's bat in the lineup. We'll see.

That looked like it would be a gruesome 1-2-3 inning…until Studley did that!

We’re doing a good job this inning laying off pitches outside the zone so far. Good sign.

Inches away from 4-0. Some really good at bats that inning vs a good pitcher. Please keep that up, as Cal can score.

Top 2nd, with 2 outs UConn offense loads the bases with a walk sandwiched between 2 hit by pitches, but nothing comes out of this 2 out rally attempt. 1-0 UConn.

This pitcher is not throwing well, at all. Disappointing to only have 1 so far but have to think we can put up a crooked number at some point.

We have a massive edge in starting pitching tonight. Please don't blow it.

1-0 UConn going to the third.

Two straight singles to start the inning. Please be thinking crooked number!
