UConn-Butler in '11 was better

Well, the result anyway.

I have to say, though, that at halftime of the Ville-Wichita St game, which had a first half as rough as UConn-Butler (except for the fact that UConn's entire starting 5 didn't play the last 8 minutes because of foul trouble), the CBS guys made every excuse in the book for the "historic" bad shooting. They mentioned the dome, but then they talked about Ville's incredible defense on how WSU was playing so well.

2 years ago people were ridiculing UConn and WSU.

In the second half, UConn actually shot 50% FG until it took the air out of the ball in the final minute or so.

This is what gets lost. UConn's offense in that game was fine when our starters were in.
