...How did we not send every alum and sports fan basically every email we have possible as a school and tell everyone to get espn3 on if u can and watch or at least leave your lp up so we can get good ratings?

Decent idea in theory, and I don't know how ratings for ESPN3 work, but here's the issue at least on a personal note...UConn does not have my e-mail address, nor phone number, and the mainframe address I had when I was there no longer exists (nor could I use it upon graduation). They even still call my parents house looking for donations, as many times as my parents have told them over the last 14 years that I no longer live there. In terms of tickets, I get them through another person. I pay for them, but they are under his name.

I am a baseball fan, so I am not the target of your post (watched every game this weekend), but there are certainly others who fall into the above category and are not interested in college baseball.
