UConn brand value

I bet the women's team has far more to do with this than any other factor.
I think it depends on the time period over which this data was compiled. Any idea about that? If for the entire year 2024, likely based a lot more on men's than women's.

Yeah, you're right. A lot of people would be looking up the roster and stats of the soon-to-be and then newly crowned back-to-back champions during 2024. We'd have to see the data from, say, 2022 to see if my theory holds any water.

That's a whole lot of blue wolves looking back at me.

So Syracuse, Boston College and Rutgers nobody cares about you.

Actually, that's not fair to Syracuse. We need to be checking what's the most viewed team page in Canada...

Ouch, Cuse doesn't even get a look in their home country!
Good for Vermont! So UK is runner up with like 3?

A little disappointed in GA with seeing CT license plates and transplants all over the Atlanta area. In my building alone in midtown there’s 4 people i know who went to UConn and at-least one UConn flag hanging from a balcony across the street.

Since we've got Texas and Florida, we should be in the SEC.
Stay tuned. The SEC has always been our best fit and we are a very good fit for the conference too. I know this sounds counter intuitive but we bring the northeast media market to showcase their teams in. We would guarantee that they have both the best football conference but also the best basketball conference for men and women’s.

I've always thought so as well, but the decision-makers seem to have thought otherwise. However, the B1G going national has put pressure on the SEC to compete for major markets. It would be logical for them to think of adding UNC, UVa, and UConn. If the ACC starts dissolving they'll have their choice from there. Too bad the ACC muffed its northeast expansion - could have been a great conference if they'd gone with UConn and Rutgers in place of BC and Syracuse.

Hopefully they would let our football team play flag football rules for the first couple of years to prevent any serious injuries our club football students.
